Raett Octave Rat Distortion

All Hail Octave Rat! This is our interpretation of an Octave Rat circuit. The inspiration for this pedal was to create a vintage Rat circuit that could stand on it’s own or be coupled with a sick octave blend so you can also hit those heavy Doom tones.

Select from 2 different diode clipping settings. The first position is a pair of silicon diodes, the second is an asymmetrical of vintage germanium diodes.

The true bypass octave switch allows you to fully remove the octave from the circuit. When the octave is engaged you can easily blend it in using the “Octave” knob. This smooth sweep can go from subtle octave to psychedelic heavy distortion.

Built using vintage diodes and in special builds we install an authentic LM308 chip instead of the standard OP07 chip. There is an up-charge but there is an option as long as we have the parts.
